CATL reports 92.89% on-year increase in net profit
Battery giant CATL reports a 92.89% on-year increase to about CNY 30.73 billion ($4.5 billion) in net profit during its 2022 financial year.
In terms of the power battery system sector, the revenue in 2022 was CNY 236.59 billion. In terms of sales performance, CATL said this sector had an on-year increase of 107.1% to 242 gigawatt-hours in 2022. In terms of total battery sales, the on-year increase was 116.6% and the sales volume reached 289 GWh.
