CATL releases 4C LFP battery in new industry breakthrough
Chinese battery giant CATL has launched a new lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery, claiming it to be the first in the world with 4C charging capability, Kallanish reports.
The so-called Shenxing battery can be charged to 80% in ten minutes, under normal temperature, CATL says.
At the same time, the battery can be charged to 80% in 30 minutes in a low-temperature environment of up to -10°C. That’s thanks to a battery temperature control technology…
