CATL, Changan Auto establish power battery firm in Yibin
Chinese leading battery firm CATL and automaker Changan Auto have recently established a joint venture focusing on the power battery field in Yibin City, Sichuan Province, Kallanish learns from Chinese business registration information platform Tianyancha.
According to Changan Auto, the production capacity of this EV battery joint venture will reach 25 gigawatt-hours/year. The first cells will be produced this year.
