BYD vows to create jobs, promote tech exchange in Hungary
Chinese battery and electric vehicle manufacturer BYD expects to create “thousands” of new jobs in Hungary as it expands its manufacturing base in the country with a new battery/EV plant.
The new production base will be built in Szeged, near the southern border of Hungary, will be developed in stages. The plan is to use the world’s most advanced process equipment and highly automated production processes, the company said on 22 December.
