Bulgarian EV sales up 50% so far this year
Sales of electric vehicles, both new and second-hand, rose over 50% in Bulgaria during the first nine months of the year, according to data from the country’s transport ministry.
Speaking at a recent industry event, chief expert in the National Transport Policy Directorate Boryana Koleva unveiled there are 12,000 EVs on Bulgarian roads, compared to 7,800 registrations in 2022.
