Bulgaria continues to increase BEV sales in September
The uptake of battery electric vehicles (BEVs) in Bulgaria continued to lift new registrations in January-September.
Data from the European Automobile Manufacturers’ Association (ACEA) show a total of 1,374 new BEVs were sold in the country in the first nine months of the year, up by 102.4% on-year, Kallanish notes. In September alone, 118 electric cars were sold, representing an annual increase of 53.2% and a 5% market share.
