Bulgaria's BEV sales hit new record in August
The uptake of battery electric vehicles (BEVs) in Bulgaria continues to reach record-high volumes, with new registrations surging 150% on-year in the January-August period.
Data from the European Automobile Manufacturers’ Association (ACEA) shows a total of 1,162 new BEVs were sold in the country in the first seven months of the year, Kallanish notes. In August alone, 151 electric cars were sold, representing an annual increase of 156% and a 5% market share…
