Brussels confirms €1.2 billion budget for second H2 auction
The European Commission is earmarking €1.2 billion ($1.3 billion) for the second auction by the European Hydrogen Bank, of which €200 million will be for the maritime sector.
The budget of the planned auction was unveiled on Wednesday during a stakeholder consultation meeting in Brussels. It’s around €1 billion lower than industry expectations, Kallanish notes.
