BLM cites Ioneer for trespass in endangered wildflower buffer zone
The US Bureau of Land Management has cited Ioneer Ltd subsidiary Rhyolite Ridge LLC for trespass near a proposed lithium-boron mine in southwest Nevada, Kallanish reports.
The company was charged with unauthorised use of a 910-acre buffer zone near the Rhyolite Ridge mine to protect the Tiehm’s buckwheat, a federally endangered wildflower that earned that designation last December. The company has 14 days to respond to the BLM notice. Its BLM permit approved…
