BHP’s Nickel West wind farm heading to completion
Global miner BHP says the construction of the Stage 1 Flat Rocks wind farm for its Nickel West units is heading to completion, Kallanish reports.
The 18 onshore wind turbines are located 264 kilometres south of Perth and will help reduce Nickel West’s Scope 2 carbon emissions by roughly 32%, compared to 2020 levels. The farm is being built by Enel Green Power.
