BHP’s half-year copper production increases 7%

Global miner BHP reported a 7% increase in its copper production in the six months to 31 December, after producing 894,000 tonnes of the red metal. In comparison, the company produced 834,000 t in H1 FY23, and expects an output of 1.7-1.9 million t in the full FY24, Kallanish notes from the company’s financial results released Tuesday.
