BHP, Toyota testing EV at nickel mine in Western Australia
BHP and Toyota Australia are teaming up on a new light electric vehicle trial at BHP’s Nickel West operations in Western Australia, Kallanish reports.
A LandCruiser 70 has been converted from running on diesel to fully electric via onboard battery power. The vehicle is expected to be used in several roles at the site and operate in above ground and underground settings.
