BHP signs MOU for nickel supply with Ford
Australian miner BHP has entered into a memorandum of understanding (MOU) for nickel supply with US automaker Ford, Kallanish notes.
The targeted multi-year nickel supply agreement could start as early as 2025 and may involve additional commodities over time.
BHP will explore options to supply Ford with nickel from its Nickel West asset in Western Australia, a producer of some of the most sustainable and lowest-carbon nickel in the world.
