BEV sales only ones to grow in Germany in May
Battery electric vehicles (BEVs) were the only powertrain drives to increase their share in Germany’s new passenger car market during May, Kallanish reports.
According to preliminary data from Germany’s Federal Motor Transport Authority (KBA), the overall automotive new car market shrunk 10.2% year-on-year, but BEV sales rose 8.9%.
