Australia’s lithium export revenues break all-time record in June
Australia saw its revenue from lithium exports break a new record in June with AUD 1.16 billion ($850 million) worth of spodumene concentrate shipped overseas, Kallanish reports.
According to the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS), exports of the battery raw material surged 1,189% or AUD 1.07 billion on-year in June, from the AUD 110m exports a year earlier. The agency said that in 2021, when the world was still dealing with the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic…
