Aurus to invest $75m in the production of a hybrid car
The Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade is supporting a special purpose investment contract (SPIC) with Aurus, Kallanish notes.
As Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of Russia Vasily Osmakov noted, this will be the first SPIC, the parameters of which provide for the production of cars with a hybrid power plant.
Investment in the project will amount to more than RUB 4.7 billion ($75 million), which will lead to the production of 7,500 cars.
