Anglo American reports weak start to the year
London-based Anglo American has reported a “challenging start to the year” with its nickel, copper and manganese ore production all declining during Q1 2022.
Company ceo Mark Cutifani said the “normally slower first quarter” was impacted by a peak in Covid-related absences and high rainfall affecting Brazilian operations, Kallanish notes.
