Ampere to adopt LFP battery to cut EV costs
Renault Group’s EV and software subsidiary, Ampere, is adding lithium iron phosphate (LFP) technology to its electric vehicle portfolio in Europe, Kallanish reports.
The company announced on Monday that LFP batteries will complement nickel cobalt manganese (NCM) offerings to “aggressively reduce vehicle costs and democratise electric mobility in Europe.”
