Aleees, Avenira plan LFP cathode plant in Darwin
Taiwanese battery materials manufacturer Aleees is planning to build a lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery cathode production capacity in Darwin, in Australia’s Northern Territory state, Kallanish learns from the company.
The company has signed a memorandum of understanding with the local government and Perth-based Avenira, which will be the exclusive supplier of phosphate acid for the planned facility.
